I'm officially in my 2-week wait (2ww)! I did an intracervical insemination (ICI) at home this morning. Then I "basted" on the couch, on my back for 30 minutes, then on my front for 30 minutes. Then I had to go to work. I'm actually sitting here at work, trying not to move around too much, hoping I ovulate or have already ovulated and that sperm will meet egg some time today!
Waiting is the worst! There are almost too many ovulation signs to look for, and I was second guessing myself the whole way. I'm still not sure if I got the timing right. I inseminated about 36 hours after my initial positive OPK, and my BBT was still fairly low. That's all TTC talk there, but it speaks to the tediousness of the TTC process.
I just wish I could KNOW sooner how it's going to turn out. I like results, answers, progress. I'll be OK with it if I don't conceive on the first try, but I just want to KNOW asap.
So, here's to my 2ww and having patience!
